Is A Utg M14 Compatible With

Ötztal Bike Marathon is not just a dream ....

The annual luck of the draw was the Diakonia Fund Racing team this year, unfortunately not hold, but I was lucky enough to get transferred to a pre-assigned grid position and was able to start on 08/29/2010 in Soelden.

Here is a brief report: To find

a good position in the more than 4,000 cyclists counted amount I'm about 5:45 clock (about an hour before) rolled to the start. The weather had improved contrary to previous Vorsage, so it was dry and in the course of the race alternated between cloudy and sunny. When it finally started, it was frozen at 5 degrees by going there.
was the rapid pace it down a slight slope at the Ötztal, until the first pass - began to Kühtai. Finally now there was a re-warm. ...

This pass is no doubt partially rather steep, but even with fresh legs but then it went up pretty fast.

top, I made my then equal to the exit. This is everybody knows, not completely harmless, since speeds are achieved up to 100 km / h..

is also the danger that a free-range cow stands in your way. With this knowledge, but then I'm left a bit defensive.
In Innsbruck I could join a fast group, so I quite quickly came up the torch. We went over to Sterzing Jaufenpass. Since I still felt pretty good, I am addressing the pass fairly quickly and was able to get some.

Now it went down again. Again, this departure was not without risk, but this time because of the very poor road surface with clear plans and road damage. Here, too, absolute care was announced!
arrived in Leon, it was the surrounding region as well as the last serious pass high. Here I saw clearly my legs are becoming increasingly heavy and had to switch back several courses, so that I was overtaken by several bikers again. Fortunately, there were still a half at the aid station where I was able to strengthen, among other things with Coke. It was pretty tough but not further ...

... until just before the pass, the jerseys hanging in the bends and then a tunnel hinted the achievement of the pass.

came Now even smaller waves until it finally went down to Sölden in the Ötztal. But on the descent I always had to be drawn faster riders, because I lacked the strength to stay tuned. Once in the target, but then I was very proud of my time of just under 9 hours at 238km and 5,500 meters.

Allen Diakonia Fund Racing bikers who could not start this year, I wish that it works out next year. Despite the hardships, I think, a very impressive race.

Small Clear Fluid A Day Before Period

through the mountains from the sea!

Last week we spent - Nicole, Daniel and me - not only our vacation on the beach, but mostly hard on the bike saddle. The tour took us to the beach that is out first. It went from Geneva to Nice over 7 mountain passes.
After 6 days of cycling with rain, hail, sun, wind, breakdowns and NEM heavy pack on his back we could finally enjoy a dip in the Mediterranean.

Here are some impressions:

Brown University Interview

from mountain goat and cow bells.

Practicing the Alps on our flat Ländler a special fascination ... Width, height, primeval landscape, silence, ...
us "flatland cyclists" get to it ... throbbing pulse, wheezing, heavy legs, fast descents.

But nothing like this I want to miss.

Am 22.08. I got held up in Lenz / Switzerland's Alpine Challenge diakonia flag ;-) ...
unfortunately, as a fund-Racing lone fighter.

must confess to drive mountain passes is something quite different than our Swabian Alb - hochzugondeln hill
but great fun. Was certainly due to the uniqueness of the mountains and also in the picture-perfect weather.

Next Saturday (28.08.) Stands with me the Stelvio Cycling Day on the program ...
then the Dolomite passes. If I have to ride this year, the 3-Länder Giro could not, but I would like
the yoke times, "he go", have ...

the Dolomites, to know what to expect next year's Maratona dles Dolomites on me.
Maybe I can still inspire riders?

Toddler Training Pants

Magstadter bike ride on 15 August

The weather forecast was so bad that some had been canceled by our bikers this tour the day before. Some optimists have nevertheless come and no one has regretted it (or better weather tough biker?): There was no rain but

Ralph, Martin, Martin, and Uwe wanted the marathon distance (234 Km, ca . 4000 meters) or at least the great RTF tour (154 km) by the beautiful Black Forest drive.

Alexandra also successfully ventured to the big track.

It was so cool that Finn's father, Thomas had to buy yet chaps for his son.

Then Finn went well, Thomas Heinz and the smaller distance (78 km).

Martin ...

... and Martin came together to the finish. Both had an average of 26.5 km / h and see but still quite fresh from after the great marathon!

Baby Booties With Lambskin Soles Pattern

Oberschwaben cycling marathon at 07 Aug.

Eleven bikers were in the bathroom Schussenried Oberschwaben Bike Marathon and the Tour de Baroque an.Vom organizers were the different tours, assigned different starting times. Therefore, this time there was no common start.
But first came a smaller group on the pasta party in Bad Schussenried ...

... And then at Wolfgang yoga center in Biberach for the night.
Joachim ensured an excellent breakfast and set forth for us all. Many thanks to Wolfgang and Joachim again at this point, we have doubled like this one hour for breakfast yet. But unfortunately
the first start the next morning was almost set in the dark. And so the night was so short that it hardly worth while to lie down. Our first group took the long route, above 224 km and drove a very fast pace - perhaps why again and again to the forestall impending rain? Jochen
... as always full of energy.

The others were allowed to start a little later, but the route was not so demanding!
.. It's always nice when families are also involved with us, because it not only the strong will bikers, but also the joy of sport, to have the companionship and the cause of Diakonia Fund Racing, can be there!
Christa, Ingolf and Manuel make themselves ready.

Uli was not 5 minutes away, as he came back with a plate. Fortunately, the organizers have made provisions, and so the wheel could be re-repaired in no time.
G. Martin and Michael went first to return. Both presented a rapid pace. (Average 31 km / h at 224 total kilometers in the foothills of the Alps, has to offer including some hills.)
short time later, Rainer ...
... and soon after was even came as Martin H.. , who also drove like Rainer the very large range.

Unfortunately I could not waiting for the other bikers, Martin and I had to leave early and we missed it, welcomed the bikers still arriving at coffee and cake with a "hello".

Prepaid Mastercard Runescape

Mountinbike weekend of 31 7. to 1 8. in the Palatinate

fund racing mountain it was called at 31.7. and 1.8. for 5 brave mountain bikers in silence right-Bach, Pfalz, near the French border.

the dear God fell from the chariot of creation down a piece of ground and aerial sat on it and the devil would never give it; na b'halts said the Lord, and so was the legend's name to able.

infernal steep climbs to ruined castles from the medieval and heavenly beautiful slopes showed beautifully restored half-timbered villages and towns which guides Marcus and Stefan, and especially Marcus still a trail "Caution: Trail Alert!" found.

It was the first day over 50 km at about 1500Hm with blue skies.

evening under the walnut tree was then with good food and excellent wine eagerly Forks, trails and many other topics says.
On the second day was on the edge of the Palatinate Forest through the vineyards with beautiful views of the Rhine Graben and the Black Forest on sometimes enchanted ways to Bad Bergzabern. 100 meters from the main road we swallowed a steeply ascending trail and we were right in the thick Palatinate Forest, which was prepared as a surprise, a freeride-practice route, which we surfed.

Finally we went but, according to Willy hedonistic part of the weekend over, speak to a wine tasting, which we closed with a glass of sparkling wine.
The post-lunch was clear: We'll be back!
